March 25, 2020 – COVID-19 – First Positive Case

March 25, 2020 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) confirms the first positive laboratory-confirmed case of novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) in the region.

March 24, 2020 – COVID-19 – Case Update

March 24, 2020 ‐ On March 23, 2020, the Institut national de santé publique du Québec notified Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) that a Quebec resident working in Renfrew County and District tested positive for COVID-19.

March 21, 2020 – COVID-19 – Self-Assessment Tool

March 21, 2020 ‐ Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) would like all residents to know that you do not require a phone assessment by RCDHU to access appropriate COVID-19 care. RCDHU is encouraging residents to complete the interactive self-assessment tool released by the Government of Ontario to help you to determine how to seek further care.

March 13, 2020 – COVID-19 – Update

March 13, 2020 ‐ Renfrew County and District Health Unit continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation daily and there are currently no cases in Renfrew County and District. The risk for Renfrew County and District remains low for COVID-19.

March 11, 2020 – COVID-19 Travel

March 11, 2020 ‐ The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) states that there are several active travel health notices for 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Each country or area may have different levels of risk. These risk levels may change as the COVID-19 event evolves internationally.

March 3, 2020-COVID-19 No Cases in Renfrew County and District

March 4, 2020 ‐ There are currently no COVID-19 cases in Renfrew County and District and Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is not investigating any cases at this time. The situation is being monitored daily.

March 4, 2020 ‐ Canadian and provincial health agencies are working closely with public health and hospitals to keep the risk of spread of the 2019-novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in Canada at a low level. The risk remains low in Renfrew County and District.
