April 16, 2021 ‐ Today, the Ontario Government announced that it is extending the provincial declaration of emergency and strengthening enforcement of the provincewide stay-at-home order for a total of six weeks, effective immediately.
April 16, 2021 – In coming weeks RCD Residents Requiring Second Dose COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments Will Be Notified
April 16, 2021 ‐ Since the start of the COVID-19 vaccination program in Renfrew County and District (RCD) in mid-February, nearly 22,000 residents have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
April 16, 2021 – RCDHU Confirms COVID-19 Exposures at George Vanier Catholic School
April 16, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) in collaboration with the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board (RCCDSB), is confirming that there were COVID-19 exposures at George Vanier Catholic School in Combermere, on April 6 and 7. The two students who exposed the school are suspected to have acquired a COVID-19 Variant of Concern (VOC), and were originally exposed outside of the school setting.

April 15, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) in collaboration with the Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB), is confirming that a student at Renfrew Collegiate Institute (RCI) in Renfrew, has a positive laboratory-confirmed case of novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19).
April 13, 2021 – Advisory issued for COVID-19 exposure at Brad’s Taxi in Renfrew
April 13, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is confirming that a staff member from Brad’s Taxi in Renfrew, has tested positive for novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19). This advisory is being issued for individuals who used Brad’s Taxi (3748 Burnstown Rd., Renfrew) on the following date and times: • Friday, April 9, 2021 between 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
April 9, 2021 – Advisory issued for COVID-19 exposure at Oh-el-la Café in Calabogie
April 9, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is confirming that an individual associated with Oh-el-la Café has tested positive for novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19). The owner has voluntarily closed the facility until further notice. This advisory is being issued for individuals who attended Oh-el-la Café (636 Mill St., Calabogie) on the following dates and times: • Wednesday, March 31, 2021 between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. • Thursday, April 1, 2021 between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. • Friday, April 2, 2021 between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. • Saturday, April 3, 2021 between 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. • Sunday, April 4, 2021 between 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

April 8, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) in collaboration with the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board (RCCDSB), is confirming that a student at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Arnprior, has a positive laboratory-confirmed case of novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) that is suspected to be a Variant of Concern (VOC).
April 8, 2021 – Residents with Certain High-Risk Health Conditions Now Eligible For COVID-19 Vaccinations
April 8, 2021 ‐ Based on the provincial prioritization guidelines for vaccination of people with health conditions, residents with the following high-risk health conditions are now eligible to receive their COVID-19 vaccination. April 7, 2021 – RCDHU Update Regarding Provincewide Stay-At-Home Order
April 7, 2021 ‐ Today, the Ontario Government declared a provincial emergency and announced the implementation of a 4-week, provincewide stay-at-home order, effective Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. This is in addition to the provincewide shutdown implemented on April 3, 2021.
