May 27, 2021 ‐ Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is issuing an advisory to any individuals who have arrived in Renfrew County and District (RCD) from the Mary River Mine site in Nunavut of Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation since April 30, 2021, to immediately self-isolate and notify RCDHU at 613-732-3629 extension 977 or 1-800-267-1097.
May 27, 2021 – RCDHU Continues to Protect Workers and the Public Through Enforcement of the Reopening Ontario Act
May 27, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is informing the public that it has issued a Section 22 Order to Olmstead’s Home Hardware in Cobden, for not adhering to requirements set out in Regulation 82/20 under the Reopening Ontario Act. After several attempts by RCDHU to rectify non-compliance, Olmstead’s Home Hardware must immediately close the business to indoor traffic, allowing curbside pick-up, delivery or online services only.

May 26, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) confirms one positive laboratoryconfirmed case of novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) in Renfrew County and District (RCD) has been linked to possible exposures. RCDHU is issuing an advisory after confirmation that a person who tested positive for COVID-19 visited the following locations: • 100 Maple Avenue, North (Pembroke): Monday, May 10, 2021 to Tuesday, May 25, 2021. • 102 Maple Avenue, North (Pembroke): Monday, May 10, 2021 to Tuesday, May 25, 2021.

May 06, 2021 – RCDHU Confirms COVID-19 Outbreak at Private Day Care in the Township of Whitewater Region
May 6, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is confirming a COVID-19 outbreak at a private day care in the Township of Whitewater Region. To date, three individuals have received positive laboratory-confirmed cases of novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) with the potential for more cases to come. The daycare voluntarily closed on April 28th and remains closed until further notice.
May 06, 2021 – RCDHU Confirms COVID-19 Outbreak at Mobility Lab in Arnprior
May 6, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is confirming a COVID-19 outbreak at Mobility Lab in Arnprior. To date, seven individuals have received positive laboratory-confirmed cases of novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) with the potential for more cases to come. As a result, Mobility Lab management voluntarily closed their business on May 1st.
May 02, 2021 – RCDHU Declares COVID-19 Workplace Outbreak at Arnprior Aerospace Inc.
May 2, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is confirming that Arnprior Aerospace Inc. meets the provincial guideline for the declaration of a workplace outbreak, with four employees to date who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) with the potential for more cases to follow. RCDHU is working closely with Arnprior Aerospace Inc. to ensure necessary measures continue to be in place to protect all staff and the public.
April 30, 2019 – RCDHU Confirms COVID-19 Outbreak at Private Home Day Care in Arnprior
April 30, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is confirming a COVID-19 outbreak at a private home day care in Arnprior. To date, there are 2 individuals that have received a positive laboratory-confirmed case of novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) and there could potentially be more cases to come. The day care is closed until further notice.
April 28, 2021 – RCDHU Declares Community Outbreak in the Town of Deep River
April 28, 2021 ‐ Today, Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is confirming that a Community Outbreak has been declared in the Town of Deep River. There are 15 individuals who have received a positive laboratory-confirmed case of novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) to date, and more cases are anticipated due to the large number of high-risk family contacts within this closely knit group in the Town of Deep River. On further investigation, there appears to be spread amongst the members within this group. RCDHU is currently conducting extensive case and contact tracing within this specific group to evaluate and contain the spread of COVID-19.
